    We're committed to making Rentisity accessible to everyone, regardless of ability.

    Rentisity is committed to making its services accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We believe accessibility benefits everyone and is essential for building a trustworthy platform.

    Our standards

    Rentisity aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard. This means:

    What we support

    Keyboard navigation

    All features are accessible using keyboard alone. Users can tab through interactive elements, use Enter to activate buttons, and use arrow keys to navigate lists.

    Screen readers

    Rentisity is compatible with popular screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver. All images have descriptive alt text, form fields are properly labeled, and content structure is logical.

    Responsive design

    The platform works seamlessly on all device sizes. Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of functionality.

    Color contrast

    Text and interactive elements meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast ratios. The platform does not rely on color alone to convey information.

    Motion and animation

    Animations respect the prefers-reduced-motion setting. Users who prefer reduced motion can disable animations in their system settings.

    Clear typography

    We use readable fonts, generous line spacing, and clear visual hierarchy to make content easy to scan and understand.

    Error prevention and recovery

    Forms provide clear error messages and suggestions for correction. Critical actions require confirmation.

    Known limitations

    We're committed to accessibility, but some areas may have limitations:

    • Map interactions: The interactive map component may have limited keyboard navigation. Alternative text-based search is always available.
    • Third-party embeds: Some embedded content from external partners may not fully comply with WCAG standards.
    • Document uploads: Scanned documents uploaded by users may not be accessible. We provide alternative ways to provide information.
    • Real-time chat: Live chat features may have limited compatibility with some screen readers, but messaging features work fully.
